How to Order a Custom Carving

Send your design via Instagram (@emberoldways) or email (hello@emberoldways.com). We’ll craft your carving with care.

The default carving color is gold, made by hand-mixing real gold powder—no synthetic dyes are used. Silver is also available.

By default, the design is carved on the upper half of the gourd, since patterns on the lower half may be partially covered by the net pouch. If you’d like the carving on the lower half instead, just let us know.

All gourds are natural and hand-carved. Clean, bold line art works best — shading, gradients, and soft details may not translate well.

Before we start carving, we will confirm the final design with you.
